Baran, on 26 October, students of a special category school for mentally challenged children met district collector Balamukund Asawa, wished him Diwali and presented a handmade greeting card.
On the occasion, the district collector congratulated the students and staff on Diwali, saying the festival is a celebration of light, joy and positive energy. He praised the staff for their challenging work with special children.
Significance of the gift
The district collector stressed the need for dedication, patience and sensitivity in working with special children, adding that bringing joy to their lives and giving them opportunities to progress is praiseworthy.
