Baran, 26 October – As directed by District Election Officer Balmukund Asawa, disciplinary action will be applied to officials and staff absent from election duty for the third and fourth phases of the 2026 Panchayati Raj elections in Baran
If absent officials and staff submit a letter citing illness, they must appear before the Medical Board. If declared fit or fail to appear, disciplinary action will be taken
Administrative assistance and training arrangements
A free bus will be arranged by the district administration from Charamurti Chowk to the final training venue, Government Agricultural College, Mangrol Road, for the convenience of the polling team
Officials and staff whose election duty is in the third phase and who are voters of the same Gram Panchayat can submit a letter of request to the Baran polling station (Kelektra Room No. 83) and the returning officer by 3 pm on 28 October. After that, letters will not be accepted
