Baran's second EVM randomisation for fourth phase of Panchayati Raj elections

Baran, on 6 November, the second EVM randomisation for the fourth phase of district council and panchayat samiti general elections was carried out on Friday.

A meeting was held in the mini secretariat hall in the presence of the District Election Officer and District Collector Balmakund Asawa, where the allocation of EVM machines for panchayat samitis was decided.

Randomisation process

NIC DIO Poonam Patni edited the randomisation process on the LED screen using computer software.

For the fourth phase, EVMs were allocated for 114 polling stations in Panchayat Samiti Ataru, 155 in Cheepabardod, 106 in Chabdara and 93 in Baran.

Election officials and representatives of political parties were present at the meeting.
