EVM first and second re‑demagisation completed in Shri Ganganagar

On 27 October, in the Shri Ganganagar Collectorate Hall, the first and second re‑demagisation of EVMs for the third phase of the Panchayati Raj General Election 2026 was carried out as directed by the State Election Commission.

The task was completed under the chairmanship of District Election Officer and District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav.

Scope of re‑demagisation

Using the software prescribed by the State Election Commission, 184 control units and 184 ballot units for 30 per cent reserved CU and BU were re‑demagised at 304 polling stations, including 301 main polling stations and 3 auxiliary polling stations in Panchayat Samiti Rajiyasar, Suratgarh and Shri Vijay Nagar.

Present were Sub‑District Election Officer Shri Subhash Kumar, Additional District Collector Satarkata Shri Ashwin K. Pandwar, District Information Officer Shri Parmjit Singh, BJP’s Shri Pradeep Dherad, INC’s Shri Bhimraj Dabi, CPM’s Shri Vijay Revaad and Aam Aadmi Party’s representative.
