The Ministry of Textiles praised the Indian Jute Corporation Limited’s cleanliness and office management work under the sixth special campaign running from 2 to 27 October 2026.
The campaign aimed to promote cleanliness, manage spaces effectively, dispose of old and unnecessary items, and improve overall efficiency of office operations.
Key activities of the Jute Corporation
During this period the Jute Corporation carried out a cleanliness drive in its various offices, beautifying office premises, cleaning public areas, deep cleaning washrooms and toilets, and cleaning archive rooms and storage racks.
Employees removed old and unnecessary items to promote a clean, organised and productive work environment.
Tree‑planting initiative
Under Swachh Bharat Day, the Jute Corporation also organised a tree‑planting drive titled "One Tree in Mother’s Name".

The Ministry of Textiles appreciated the Jute Corporation’s dedicated contribution and efforts, stating that this contribution strengthens the ministry’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainable development, efficient resource management and good governance.
