The 41st webinar of the National Good Governance series was held on 30 October 2026, featuring the Rajkot district initiative that received the Prime Minister’s Award (PMA) for 2024 and was presented under the theme ‘Sustainability and Replication of PM Award‑honoured initiatives’
(i) Shri Prabhav Joshi, Joint Managing Director of GIDC, Gandhinagar, presented the award‑winning initiative.
(ii) Dr Om Prakash, District Collector and DM of Rajkot, highlighted various aspects of the initiative’s sustainability.
(iii) Shri Manish Gurwani, District Collector and DM of Navsari, Gujarat, briefed on implementation of key components and prospects for expansion.
Additional Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Shri Puneet Yadav, chaired the webinar, with senior department officials also participating.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had directed in April 2022 that DARPG organise virtual conferences/webinars with district collectors and other officials to invite former PM Award winners to share experiences, promote their initiatives widely and encourage replication in other regions.
To date, 40 webinars have been held under this initiative, each drawing about 1,000 officials from various departments, state governments, district collectors, state administrative training institutes and central training institutes.
