The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, together with its central public sector undertakings (CPSUs) and other organisations, is actively implementing Special Campaign 6. The campaign’s core focus is cleanliness, efficient record‑keeping, disposal of scrap and e‑waste and better utilisation of office space.
Under Special Campaign 6, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and its oil‑and‑gas CPSUs have made remarkable progress in promoting cleanliness and improving office‑space utilisation. According to CPSU‑wise progress data prepared for the campaign, 3.42 lakh sq ft of space has been vacated, 13.20 % more than the previous year’s 3.03 lakh sq ft.
Scrap and e‑waste disposal under the campaign has yielded ₹49.46 crore, 120.63 % of the ₹41 crore target. These achievements demonstrate the ministry’s commitment to making cleanliness a permanent practice, disposing of scrap and e‑waste scientifically, and enhancing administrative efficiency in the oil‑and‑gas sector.
The ministry continuously monitors the campaign’s progress. It has also urged all its organisations to accelerate efforts to meet targets, ensure responsible e‑waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in offices and other premises.
Special Campaign 6 has reinforced the ministry’s commitment to cleanliness, environmental responsibility, efficient record‑keeping and improved administrative functioning in the oil‑and‑gas sector.
