• New Education Policy enhances our culture and intellectual capacity – Governor
  • Nation is not just territory; it is a cultural perspective of life – Assembly Speaker

Jaipur, 28 October. Governor Shri Haribhaau Bagde said the New Education Policy is linked to India’s culture and traditions. Through it, the new generation is getting knowledge of India’s real history. Referring to Vinoba Bhave, he said Vinoba had said that after independence the country’s education system should be changed first. That did not happen, but the New Education Policy marks a historic step in that direction. It will enhance our culture and intellectual capacity.

Shri Bagde addressed the launch ceremony of the book “Sangh se Rashtrabodh: Shatabdi Yatra ke Vibhinn Padav” at Pathey Bhavan on Wednesday. He said the Sangh works to create the nation’s best citizens. He said children and youth are the soul of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Once attached, they work devotedly for the nation. He added that there is no region where Sangh workers do not work for development. Since its founding in 1925, the Sangh has promoted morality, honesty and service to the nation, and he described it as an organization that gives a lofty vision of life.

Shri Bagde said that after independence, on 26 January, at Pandit Nehru’s request, RSS volunteers marched on Rajpath with full discipline. Marking the Sangh’s hundredth year, he highlighted its important work and said the dedication of its people has propelled national development forward.

Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devanani said the nation is not just territory; it is a cultural perspective of life. He said that during the Sangh’s hundred‑year journey, organized and characterful people have been continuously prepared.

Shri Devanani said the Sangh, while building people, inspires work with a “nation first” mindset. He said the world’s largest volunteer organisation is the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Citing the work of service camps and social harmony, he called for inspiration from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s “integral humanism”.

Distinguished guest and organization General Secretary Shri Ajay Kumar said the RSS has spread the message “the country gives us everything, we must also learn to give” to the masses. He said the Sangh, through nation‑building, has guided the country on the path of progress. He said the Sangh’s hundred‑year journey was possible by moving together, and urged everyone to resolve that whether I live or not, the country must endure.

Distinguished guest Pandit Rajkumar Sharma said science‑based culture is needed. It should free people from hypocrisy and superstitions, teach love for self and nation, and adopt that religion. That is the eternal dharma and culture.

Governor Shri Bagde, while launching the book earlier, said it will help understand the Sangh in depth.
