Rajasthan University, Jaipur issued a notification for recruitment of DSc (Doctor of Science) and D.Litt (Doctor of Literature) degrees for the 2026‑27 session. Interested candidates can apply online from 12 November and must submit hard copies of documents by 25 November.
Vice‑Chancellor Prof. B.P. Saraswat said that after filling the application form, the prescribed fee must be paid through a bank challan by 19 November. After fee payment, candidates must submit the hard copy of the form with their documents to the university.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must fulfil the conditions listed below:
- A PhD or equivalent degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject is mandatory.
- A minimum of four years of service after obtaining the PhD is required.
- At least five years of teaching experience as a permanent faculty member at the postgraduate level in a recognised institution is required.
- At least ten research papers must be published in UGC‑approved or refereed journals.
- A minimum API score of 400 is mandatory as per Annexure‑A of Regulation 140‑A.
