BPCL Gas blocked the LPG connections of 15 consumers in the Shri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Fazilka gas distribution areas who did not take PNG despite its availability, preventing them from booking the next refill.

Under the directives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, BPCL Gas had earlier issued a notice; after 90 days the action was taken against consumers who did not take PNG, as informed by the Information and Public Relations Department, Rajasthan.

Special facility of PNG Drive 3.0

Under the Ministry’s PNG Drive 3.0 scheme, consumers can take a PNG connection from 1 October 2026 to 28 February 2027 by paying a processing fee of Rs 750 plus applicable GST, and a daily charge of Rs 1. They receive a reimbursement of Rs 250 on each of the next three bills, which can be refunded in total.

Shri Ganganagar has over 2,000 and Hanumangarh over 1,000 active PNG consumers; more than 3,200 households in the two towns enjoy 24×7 continuous PNG supply.

Expansion of PNG facility

BPCL Gas said PNG service is active in many colonies of Shri Ganganagar (Manasrovar, Neelkanth, Agrawal Colony, etc.), while in Hanumangarh it is available in the Housing Board and New Civil Lines. PNG service will also start soon in the town of Abohar, Fazilka.
