Election staff appointed for the third phase of the Panchayati Raj General Election 2026 in Talera Panchayat Samiti, Bundi, exercised their franchise on Monday via postal ballot. The process was completed before the polling teams departed.
According to the Information and Public Relations Department, 11 out of 12 postal ballots were cast for the Panchayat Samiti member election. Similarly, 11 out of 12 ballots were cast for the District Council member election.
Details of the postal ballot process
Gopal Singh Meena, co‑in‑charge of the postal ballot cell, and Lokesh Jain, control in‑charge, said that the staff exercised their right before going on election duty. This arrangement was adopted to provide voting facilities to employees engaged in election work.
