In Churu district, the review of nomination papers for member seats of six panchayat committees for the fourth phase of Panchayati Raj elections‑2026 will be conducted on Friday, 06 November 2026 until 03:00 pm.

Sub‑District Electoral Officer (ADM) Arpita Sony said that after Thursday’s review of nomination papers, the nomination papers of candidate Ramnivas for Ward No 01 and candidate Champa Saini for Ward No 06 of Tarangar West (Bhaleri) headquarters Panchayat Committee were rejected.

Rejected nomination paper

Arpita Sony said that the nomination papers of Anita for Ward No 2 and Parmeshwari for Ward No 12 of Tarangar East Panchayat Committee were rejected, and the nomination papers of Sushila Jat for Ward No 24 and Sohan Lal Meghwal for Ward No 27 of Ratangarh Panchayat Committee were rejected.

In Churu North (headquarters Churu) Panchayat Committee, the nomination papers of Suman for Ward No 02, Maniram for Ward No 9, Suman Kumari and Teja alias Teja for Ward No 13 were rejected.

In Churu Panchayat Committee, the nomination papers of Suresh and Sultan Singh for Ward No 1, Niranjan Kumar for Ward No 2, Manju Kumari Verma for Ward No 4, Amri Devi for Ward No 8, Sunil Kumar, Nirmal Basera for Ward No 9, Sandeep Kumar for Ward No 12, Vikas and Jaya for Ward No 13 were rejected.

In Sujanagarh Panchayat Committee, the nomination papers of candidates Chenarama Meghwal, Narayan Singh, Kiran Meghwal for Ward No 3; Chain Singh and Kailash for Ward No 4; Raju Devi, Leela Devi Swami, Prakash Kanwar for Ward No 5; Moduram and Radheshyam Meghwal for Ward No 6; Manju, Sapudi and Sapudi for Ward No 8; Mahesh Meghwal for Ward No 9; Jwala Kanwar and Raju Singh for Ward No 13; Kalpana Kanwar, Prahlad Singh and Nemi Devi for Ward No 14; Santosh for Ward No 15; Subhash and Ramesh Singh for Ward No 18; Ganpat Ram for Ward No 20; Meena Kanwar and Ramdulari Devi for Ward No 22; and Santara Devi for Ward No 24, among others, were rejected.

Process for withdrawing candidature

After the review, candidates whose nomination papers were accepted may withdraw their candidature for the fourth‑phase panchayat committee member elections until Friday, 06 November 2026 at 03:00 pm. Immediately after the withdrawal deadline on 06 November 2026, election symbols will be allocated and the list of candidates contesting the election will be published.
