State Election Commission received 124 nomination papers for member seats in six panchayat samitis of Churu district, which can be submitted and verified until 4‑6 November 2026

According to Sub‑District Election Officer (ADM) Arpita Sony, 33, 4, 4, 60, 10 and 13 nomination papers were received on Monday from Sujanagar, Tarangar (East and West), Ratangarh, Churu North (headquarters Churu) and Churu respectively

Submission and verification of nomination papers

ADM said nomination papers for the fourth phase can be submitted by 3 pm on 4 November 2026; submission hours will be from 11 am to 3 pm

On 5 November from 11 am nomination papers will be scrutinised, and on 6 November withdrawals will be accepted up to 3 pm

As soon as withdrawals close, allocation of election symbols and publication of the candidate list will be done on 6 November, said the Information and Public Relations Department

  • Churu North (headquarters Churu) – Ward 15: INC Banwari, Ward 6: INC Mooli, Independent Kanta, Ward 11: RLP Kapil, INC Mahesh Kumar, etc.
  • Churu – Ward 6: INC Meera, Ward 10: INC Suman, Ward 1: RLP Surendra Kumar, etc.
  • Tarangar (East) – Ward 7: Independent Kishore Kumar, Ward 12: BSP Leelavati, etc.
  • Tarangar (West) – Ward 5: BJP Vimla, Ward 2: INC Rajendra Kumar, etc.
  • Sujanagar – Ward 1: BJP Santosh Devi, Ward 2: INC Nani, etc.
  • Ratangarh – Ward 1: BJP Kamla Devi, Ward 2: BJP Rajendra Singh Bhamu, etc.
