Churu, 24 October. As per the programme announced by the State Election Commission, Rajasthan, the review of nomination letters received for the election of members of seven Panchayat Samitis (Bidasar, Rajgarh, Chandgothi (headquarters Rajgarh), Siddhmuha, Bhaniwara, Saradshahr and Saradshahr East) for the third phase of general elections in Panchayati Raj institutions 2026 was conducted on Saturday.
Sub-Divisional Election Officer (ADAM) Arpita Soni said that after the review of nomination letters on Saturday, the nomination letters of candidates such as Kheenu Kumari and Bajrang for Ward No. 02 of Rajgarh Panchayat Samiti, Pushpa for Ward No. 10, Mosam for Ward No. 13 and Samundar for Ward No. 16, etc. were rejected. Similarly, the nomination letters of Ashish Kumar for Ward No. 05, Manoj Kumari for Ward No. 10, Nirotama Devi for Ward No. 11 and Sumitra for Ward No. 14 of Chandgothi Panchayat Samiti (headquarters Rajgarh) were rejected.
She said that the nomination letters of Kanhaiyalal and Naveen Kumar for Ward No. 02 of Siddhmuha Panchayat Samiti were rejected. Likewise, the nomination letters of Shravan Nath for Ward 02, Chand, Mularam, Rajuram for Ward 03, Mamta Ranwan for Ward 05, Upaasana Meghwal for Ward 07, Savitri Devi for Ward 09 and Ompal Singh for Ward 14 of Bhaniwara Panchayat Samiti were rejected. In the same order, the nomination letters of Lichha for Ward No. 18, Sonu and Gomati Devi for Ward No. 02, Narpat Singh for Ward No. 17, Nandu Konwar and Sita Devi for Ward No. 15, Sushila Konwar for Ward No. 08, Santosh for Ward No. 19, Fatehsinh and Heerarom for Ward No. 10, Mohammad Ikbal and Mulchand for Ward No. 07, Sheraram for Ward No. 11, Sonu Singh for Ward No. 05 and Pankaj Kumar for Ward No. 16 of Bidasar Panchayat Samiti were rejected.
Arpita Soni said that the nomination letters of Dudaram for Ward No. 01, Mamta Devi for Ward No. 04, Tara Konwar for Ward No. 05, Savitri Chaudhary for Ward No. 06, Kamla and Suman Konwar for Ward No. 07, Mamaraj Saharan for Ward No. 10, Ranjit Kumar for Ward No. 13 and Priyanka for Ward No. 15 of Saradshahr East Panchayat Samiti were rejected. She added that the nomination letters of Muniraj for Ward No. 05 and Manju Devi for Ward No. 15 of Saradshahr Panchayat Samiti were rejected.
She said that on Monday, 26 October 2026, candidates can withdraw their candidature until 3:00 pm. Immediately after the deadline for withdrawal, on 26 October 2026, the allocation of election symbols and the publication of the list of candidates contesting the election will take place.
