The district election officer issued an order that several educational institutions in Kotputli‑Bharore district will remain on public holiday during the second and third phases of Panchayati Raj elections‑2026.
Under the second phase, schools, colleges and government institutions of Banasur, Pawta, Kotputli and Narayanpur panchayat samitis will be closed from 27 October to 31 October 2026. For the third phase, a holiday has been declared at the polling centres of Neemrana, Bharore, Viratnagar and Maid‑Kundla panchayat samitis from 2 November to 6 November 2026.
Holiday on counting day as well
As stated in the order, Lal Bahadur Shastri Government College in Kotputli will be on public holiday on 20 November 2026 on the occasion of counting day.
Provision of facilities
According to the order, accommodation, furniture and other necessary facilities will be provided from the arrival to the departure of the chief polling teams at the institutions. The buildings of the polling centres will be used for the teams' stay and election work.
