In the second phase of Panchayat Raj 2026 elections, the polling team was dispatched from Government Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) College, Kotpootli in the presence of District Election Officer Aparna Gupta.
Additional District Collector and Sub-District Election Officer Sohan Singh Naruka said that EVMs and other necessary materials were supplied to the polling teams from the strong room and all required arrangements have been ensured to make the process smooth and transparent.
Voting dates and areas
In the second phase, voting for member and district council member posts will be held on 28 October in the four panchayat samitis of Kotpootli, Pawta, Narayanpur and Bansur, while voting for panch and sarpanch posts is scheduled on 30 October in the same four samitis.
All voting materials were made available in the strong room and, after final training, the polling teams were sent to their workplaces.
Administrative instructions
The Sub-District Election Officer said that all appointed staff will follow the prescribed guidelines and will play their part in ensuring free, fair and well-organized voting.
