Jaipur, 23 October. The Election Commission of India is running a special campaign from 1 October to 31 October 2026 to add names to the electoral roll for eligible 18‑19‑year‑old youths and other missed eligible citizens. District Election Officer Sandesh Nayak held a review meeting on Friday at the Collectorate hall with the EROs of all assembly constituencies to give momentum to the campaign.
The District Election Officer said that, as per the Commission’s directions, the District Election Office is continuously facilitating the filling of Form 6 to add the names of eligible 18‑19‑year‑old youths and other missed citizens to the electoral roll. He instructed all EROs to organise cluster camps in senior secondary schools and colleges in their areas and, through BLOs, to ensure that as many eligible 18‑19‑year‑old youths as possible fill the form offline and online via https://voters.eci.gov.in/. He also directed EROs to send BLOs door‑to‑door to have eligible citizens fill Form 6 offline or online so that the country’s future generation and other missed eligible citizens receive voting rights, strengthening India’s democratic tradition.
