On 30 October 2026, the VT‑HCXX (type AS350B3) helicopter of Messers Transbharat Aviation Pvt. Ltd. departed from Badrinath helipad at 13:14, en route to Sahastradhara helipad (Dehradun), and crashed in a forest near the tea village of Joshi‑Madh.
The helicopter carried one pilot and five passengers. The wreckage has been located and rescue operations are underway.
Commencement of investigation
A team from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has been dispatched to Dehradun to conduct an initial investigation.
