251 watches stolen from Rado showroom on Tonk Road, Jaipur, worth between 4 and 5 crore rupees. On 1 October, the Ghodasan gang raided the shop; 26 days later, police arrested the two main accused, Ajay Prasad and Dinesh Paswan.

According to police, more than five thieves were standing outside the showroom on the road during the theft, watching passers‑by. CCTV footage showed the thieves’ faces covered, but later the Sindhi camp CCTV revealed some faces clearly.

Location found via Google search

Police inquiry revealed that the gang had received a demand for Rado watches from a buyer in Nepal. They then searched for the Rado showroom on Google and deemed the Jaipur showroom the safest.

Arrest and interrogation

Bajaj Nagar police station took Ajay Prasad and Dinesh Paswan into 6‑day remand. Both named other accomplices in interrogation but gave no information about the watches. Police sifted through over 800 CCTV clips and arrested them in Motihari, Bihar.

Next step of investigation

Police are now working to recover the 251 stolen watches and locate other gang members.
