A district-level peace committee meeting chaired by District Collector Harphool Singh Yadav was held to ensure religious festivals, events, rallies and processions in Bundi are celebrated with peace and harmony.
In the meeting, the collector urged all organizers to preserve Bundi’s traditional harmony, conduct events peacefully and report any problem to the police immediately. He also assured solutions for cleaning, road construction and other basic facilities.
Police role and security measures
Superintendent of Police Avinish Kumar Sharma told organizers to take responsibility for event arrangements and to inform police immediately if any unrest or communal tension arises. He said additional police would be deployed at sensitive locations and strict action would be taken against those disrupting communal harmony on social media.
Peace committee members have also highlighted issues such as cleaning, road repairs and encroachments, and the collector has directed the concerned departments to address them.
