Legal Metrology Officer Ashok Mittal reported that on Wednesday, three establishments – Rajesh & Company, Shri Kalyan Provision Store, and Rajesh Grocery Store – were inspected in the Bawali jurisdiction. During the inspection, the maximum retail price of packaged goods and compliance with related rules were checked. All three establishments were found to be complying with the prescribed rules and selling at MRPs
The Legal Metrology Officer directed traders to ensure compliance with all rules related to manufacturing, packaging, price marking, and sale of packaged goods. Violations of consumer‑interest‑related rules will lead to action against the respective establishments as per regulations
