On Sunday, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devanani inaugurated the repair and beautification of the community hall in Ward 11, Longia, Ajmer North, with ₹11.80 lakh approved from the MLA fund
Devanani said the community hall is the main venue for local residents’ social and collective events and the upgrade will give poor‑middle‑class families a safe place for weddings and other ceremonies
Scope of development works
The Assembly Speaker said continuous work is underway in Ajmer North on roads, lighting, drainage, health services and several basic facilities. Beautification works costing over ₹8 crore are also in progress on the Ajmer entry route, promising a better experience for visitors
A state‑of‑the‑art science park and a four‑storey library are under construction in Panchshil, while a soldier school and IT park worth ₹20 crore are being set up in Hathikheda. A sports stadium with a capacity of thousands is also being built on Makadwali Road
