The Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice organised a health check camp on 27 October 2026 on the fourth floor of Duty Building‑II, New Delhi under ‘Special Campaign 6’ to promote preventive health care and employee welfare.
The camp was organised under the guidance of Secretary Dr. Rajiv Mani. Joint Secretary and Legislative Counsellor T. S. Murli Dharan attended the camp with other senior officials and staff of the department.
Format of the event
The camp was organised by the NGO INDIA‑AIDS. The NGO brought doctors from the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre and their supporting staff.
Doctors and supporting staff provided medical advice and necessary guidance to participants.
Purpose and impact
The main purpose of the camp was to raise awareness about preventive health care, the importance of regular health checks and adopting a healthy lifestyle. The initiative encouraged officials and staff to remain vigilant about their health and seek timely medical advice.
The Legislative Department demonstrated its commitment to employee welfare and a healthy, positive work environment through this camp.
