On Friday evening, on the occasion of Dhanteras, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma did Diwali shopping with his family at Bada Bazaar in Mansarovar, Jaipur. According to a government release, he bought indigenous products from the local market and gave the message of 'vocal for local'.
During this, the Chief Minister bought earthen lamps, worship materials, rangoli and bandanwar from street vendors. He promoted digital payment by making payments through UPI. Vendors and common people expressed happiness seeing the Chief Minister among them.
Vyapar Mandal welcomed him
Earlier, upon the arrival of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at Bada Bazaar located on Kiran Path, the local Vyapar Mandal welcomed him. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended greetings to the people of the state for Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
