Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah presented the President's Colour to Uttarakhand Police during a ceremony held in Dehradun. With this prestigious honor, Uttarakhand has become the 16th such state in the country whose police has received this highest pride.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and several dignitaries were present on the occasion. Praising the personnel and officers of Uttarakhand Police, Home Minister Amit Shah said that it is a moment of immense pride for serving and retired personnel over the 25 years from the state's formation till now.
