The Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice has initiated a new dialogue series aimed at sharing experiences between senior officers and staff.
The first session of this series was held on November 5, 2026, at the Legislative Training Hall, Kartavya Bhawan 2, New Delhi. The session was chaired by Dr. Manoj Kumar, Additional Secretary, Legislative Department.
Discussion on leadership and personal effectiveness
During the session, Mrs. Akali V. Kangkhe, Additional Secretary of the Legislative Department, delivered a lecture on the topic "Improving Values and Personal Effectiveness in Leadership". She stated that leadership is not limited to positions alone, but is based on personal conduct and values.
She presented the concept of the 'Five Cs' (Consistency, Culture, Contribution, Community, and Curiosity) for purposeful leadership. More than 80 officers and staff members of the department participated in this session.
